Petrogas Days UI 2012

PetroGas Days (Petrochemical, Oil, and Gas Days) is an event conducted by Ikatan Mahasiswa Teknik Kimia Universitas Indonesia (Chemical Engineering Students Association of Universitas Indonesia) which will accommodate students with knowledge about oil, gas, and energy sector.

PetroGas Days was first held in 2004 and in collaboration with KMI as a part of KMI GOES TO CAMPUS activities. This year is the 7^th-year of PetroGas Days and will bring theme about the role of oil and gas sector on strengthening the national competitiveness that we conclude as:

“Optimizing Oil and Gas Sector to Strengthen National Competitiveness”

PetroGas Days 2012 will discuss everything which needs to be improved in oil and gas sector so that can support another main sector in Indonesia and also the economics on facing global economic challenge. These all will be presented in 2 seminar series classes, 4 workshop classes, and gala dinner as closing ceremony of the event. PetroGas Days 2012 will be a moment for students to know more about oil and gas and its phenomena towards time to time from its technology, infrastructure, national bureaucracy, and so on.

PetroGas Days 2012 will be held together with 4^th Chemical Product Design Competition, a competition on designing innovative chemical product which compete students in ASEAN. This event will show how students can maximize and empower their national potential by changing them into more valuable products. Both events will deliver spirits of students, institutions, professionals, and so on to support and strengthen the competitiveness of nation.
